Position Overview

As our Front Office Coordinator, you are the critical first point of contact for our customers during what can often be a stressful time (following an accident). This is a fast-paced, high-volume role requiring a blend of elite customer hospitality, sharp organizational skills, and a solid understanding of the automotive repair workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Hospitality: Warmly greet customers, manage the check-in/check-out process for vehicle repairs, and maintain a highly professional, positive office atmosphere.
• Communication Hub: Answer a high-volume multi-line phone system, directing calls accurately, taking clear messages, and scheduling appointments.
• Workflow Coordination: Act as the liaison between customers, collision estimators, and repair technicians to provide proactive updates on vehicle status.
• Administrative Support: Utilize specialized industry software and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) for precise data entry, digital scanning, customer invoicing, and filing.

Skills & Requirements

• Automotive Industry Experience (Preferred): A solid baseline of automotive knowledge is a must. Prior experience working in a collision center, service center, car dealership or the insurance industry is preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Strong computer literacy is necessary (Microsoft Word/Excel). Prior experience with CCC One Pathways, Mitchell, or Audatex is a significant plus, but we will train a candidate with the right automotive background.
• High-Velocity Multi-Tasking: Ability to stay calm, organized, and polite in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

SERVICE CENTER –

Licensed MA State Inspection Technician

Cape Auto in Plymouth is looking for a full-time Licensed MA State Inspection Technician to join our team. We are a family-owned and operated independent vehicle repair facility, in business since 1952. This is a full-time position with the hours of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. We are closed weekends and on national holidays. We are located right in downtown Plymouth, America’s Hometown!
