Penny is gearing up once again to attend the Thirsty Pilgrim Beer Festival at the Hedge House in Plymouth on Sept. 9th and 10th.
She had so much fun last year, she can’t wait to go again.
Not only is it a great chance to savor beer samples (like the VooDoo Ranger Atomic Pumpkin and these other awesome varieties), listen to live music with The King Ludwig’s Bavarian Band, and eat food featuring Thirsty Pilgrim Brats, the whole event helps feed the hungry!
All the money raised will go to local food pantries, soup kitchens and the school children’s “snack pack” program to help feed those less fortunate in our community.
It’s a real win-win!
Penny plans to drive over at start-time — 1 p.m. on Saturday — and pay the $5 admission fee that includes 3 beer samples. She doesn’t have any kids, but folks with children under 10 pay $3 per child. Kids will get to enjoy face painting, contests and games!
She plans on making a special trip to the Bud Light End Zone Tent where she can try Bud Light and Twisted Teas and watch college and professional football on two HD TVs.
But before she goes, she really needs to get her convertible’s AC recharged at Cape Auto so she can stay cool in the late summer heat. Right now they have an awesome deal to get $10 off the recharge before Aug. 31.
Take advantage of the same Cape Auto deal here, and mark your calendar for the Beerfest!
